In March 2026, the “Frontier” Chinese Teaching Conference, themed “Setting New Benchmarks, Expanding Deeper Horizons,” was held on March 28 at Utahloy International School Guangzhou. Hosted by the school, the event brought together nearly 300 experts, scholars, and Chinese language teachers from across the Asia-Pacific region to explore future directions in Chinese language education.

We are excited to announce our 2026 Summer Program. Designed for students aged 2–15 from both on and off campus, this summer offers a unique journey that blends global perspectives, language mastery, and water‑based discovery.

We are proud to announce the launch of the Utahloy Scholarship Program a renewable merit-based scholarship for new students entering Grades 9-11.

This year, the Class of 2030 proudly presented their Community Project Exhibition — a milestone in a year of meaningful learning, growth, and action. The Community Project is a cornerstone of the MYP at UISG: a year‑long journey in which students choose a community they care about and design creative, practical ways to make a positive impact. Working through the project cycle — Investigation, Planning, Action, and Reflection — our Grade 8 students strengthened empathy, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking.

Around the Qingming Festival, the earth is moist and life begins to sprout. Layers of green, from light to deep, quietly imprint the vitality of spring onto our minds and bodies. Nature never holds back its gifts – flowers of all shapes and colors bloom one after another, while purple wood sorrel, dandelions, shepherd’s purse, and mugwort gradually blanket the ground.

This week has been unusually quiet on campus, as secondary students are away on their annual Week Without Walls (WWW). While we have missed their energy, we know they are building resilience and friendships outdoors.

On March 26th and 27th, the enchanting world of Dr. Seuss came alive on the UISG stage as students from grades 1 to 6 delivered a spectacular performance of Seussical Junior. The production marked the culmination of an extraordinary creative journey that began last September—one that showcased not just stellar performances, but the remarkable teamwork and dedication of four essential production teams working towards a common goal.

First, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the parents who have been attending our ongoing Korean University visits and information sessions at UISG. Your active involvement in supporting your child’s future educational journey is truly valued and greatly appreciated. We are excited to provide these opportunities for our Korean families!

Some students find their path early. For Nicolas, that path began in K2 at UISG—and this fall, a new chapter awaits. After fourteen years within our community, Nicolas has earned offers from some of the world’s most respected universities. His story is one of consistency, curiosity, and quiet determination.

On March 14 and 15, 2026, over 170 young musicians from international schools across the region gathered in Panyu, Guangzhou, for the ACAMIS Honor Band Music Conference—a celebration of musical excellence, collaboration, and the universal language of music. UISG students took part in the event, not only as dedicated ensemble members but also as featured performers who brought a different kind of energy to the stage.
