G12 IBDP UNFOLDING
Looking back, Unfolding—the IB Diploma Programme Visual Arts Exhibition—brought a season of creativity to life within the ULC building. This exhibition showcased the culminating work of our DP Visual Arts students, whose projects explored identity, perception, emotion, and personal growth through a wide range of media. We are deeply grateful to the greater Guangzhou community for visiting during UEF Family Day and for sharing in the spirit of these young artists.
Like flower petals gradually opening, Unfolding reveals the artistic journeys of four student artists as they explore identity, perception, emotion, and self-discovery through their work. Visitors will encounter a wide range of artistic approaches and ideas.
01. Rachel Kim
Hollow Spaces
Rachel Kim’s Hollow Spaces reflects on emotional and architectural interpretations of empty spaces, inspired by Korean traditional design and the quiet moments of living independently.
02. Kevin Kim
The Unspoken Language
Kevin Kim’s The Unspoken Language explores how emotions can be communicated through visual metaphor, symbolism, and gesture, revealing forms of expression that exist beyond spoken language.
03. Chloe Yang
Garden of Perception
In Chloe Yang’s Garden of Perception, immersive installations and mixed media works examine how perception shapes our understanding of the world.
04. Tammi Lin
Journey to the Self
Finally, Tammi Lin’s Journey to the Self shares a deeply personal story of insecurity, resilience, and the path toward self-confidence.
Each artwork represents a moment of growth, where self-expression and creative exploration unfold together.
As the final petals of Unfolding settle, we carry with us the beauty of these artistic journeys. Thank you to everyone who paused to witness the stories, emotions, and voices these young artists so bravely shared.

回顾《Unfolding》——IBDP视觉艺术展，这场展览在UISG的ULC教学楼内带来了一段充满创造力的时光。此次展览呈现了DP视觉艺术学生们的最终作品，他们通过多种媒介，探索了身份认同、感知、情感与个人成长。我们由衷感谢广州社群的朋友们在UEF家庭日活动期间前来观展，共同感受这些年轻艺术家的精神。
如花瓣徐徐展开，《Unfolding》呈现了四位学生艺术家的艺术旅程，他们通过作品探索身份、感知、情感与自我发现。观众将看到多样化的艺术方式与思考。

Rachel Kim的《虚空之境（Hollow Spaces）》从情感与建筑的角度诠释“空”的概念，灵感来源于韩国传统设计以及独处时的沉静时光。
02. Kevin Kim
The Unspoken Language
Kevin Kim的《无声的语言（The Unspoken Language）》探索情感如何通过视觉隐喻、象征与姿态传达，展现出超越言语之外的表现形式。
03. Chloe Yang
Garden of Perception
在Chloe Yang的《感知之园（Garden of Perception）》中，沉浸式装置与混合媒介作品探讨了“感知”如何塑造我们对世界的理解。
04. Tammi Lin
Journey to the Self
最后，Tammi Lin的《寻我之旅（Journey to the Self）》讲述了一段关于不安、韧性、以及走向自信的深切个人故事。
每一件作品都代表了一个成长的瞬间，自我表达与创作探索在此共同绽放。
当《Unfolding》的最后一片花瓣缓缓落下，我们带走了这些艺术旅程中的美好。感谢每一位驻足观看的人，见证这些年轻艺术家勇敢分享的故事、情感与声音。
