Looking back, Unfolding—the IB Diploma Programme Visual Arts Exhibition—brought a season of creativity to life within the ULC building. This exhibition showcased the culminating work of our DP Visual Arts students, whose projects explored identity, perception, emotion, and personal growth through a wide range of media. We are deeply grateful to the greater Guangzhou community for visiting during UEF Family Day and for sharing in the spirit of these young artists.

Earlier this month, our Grade 3, 4, and 5 students traded their classrooms for the great outdoors, embarking on their annual Week Without Walls camps, an experience that has become a cornerstone of holistic education at UIS.
UTAHLOY The 2026 UEF Family Day has concluded successfully, bringing together the UISG and UISZ communities in a vibrant celebration of unity and belonging. The day began with the grand opening of our brand-new boarding house—a milestone marking UEF’s continued commitment to holistic education. Ms. Dorothy, Board Director and Chair of the UEF Board, was joined by UIS Superintendent Dr. Dan, Head of Boarding Mostafa, IB student representative Bosco, and DSE student representative Chole to officially inaugurate this state-of-the-art facility. Parents and students then had the opportunity to explore the thoughtfully designed living spaces, envisioning the growth and independence this home-away-from-home will foster.
First, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the parents who have been attending our ongoing Korean University visits and information sessions at UISG. Your active involvement in supporting your child’s future educational journey is truly valued and greatly appreciated. We are excited to provide these opportunities for our Korean families!
The Science, Geography, and Culture area in the Casa classroom is a space bursting with exploration. Here, children use tangible and authentic materials to open doors to understanding the world—starting with learning about the Earth’s land and water, moving on to the seven continents, and then delving into the natural and cultural landscapes of different countries.
We are delighted to announce that Gabrielle Le Maréchal, recipient of the UISG Scholarship for the 2023-2024 academic year, has secured admission to several world-leading universities! She has earned A place in the Bachelor of Arts program at McGill University (ranked #27 in the 2026 QS World University Rankings)

On Saturday, March 21st, 2026, UEF Family Day will take place on campus. This is a day to celebrate the warmth of family and community—and to mark a very special milestone: the official opening of our new boarding home!
It was a privilege to join our Grade 3 students on their camp experience this past Thursday at our new outdoor education site in Xiangwo. Their teamwork and enthusiasm were truly inspiring. I look forward to hearing about all the adventures from our Primary students who participated in camps this week.
