The UISG Wolves Athletic Program offers a wide range of sporting opportunities for students at various skill levels, with the goal of helping students reach their full potential. Whether participating in competitive or recreational sports, the program is aligned with UISG’s Core Values and emphasizes the development of important qualities such as respect, resilience, ambition, and outstanding character. The program strives for success in fostering these attributes among students.
At the elementary level, the focus is on maximizing sports participation while developing basic skills, understanding game rules, and introducing tactical play. Equal playing opportunities during training and matches help foster a passion for sports and support overall growth. This stage lays the foundation for higher competitive levels by exposing students to competition and fundamental tactics. At this stage, our focus remains on further developing and honing fundamental skills, with the expectation that students will apply and transfer these skills in all training sessions and competitions. At this stage, the highest level of the UISG pyramid approach to sports is reached, with a strong focus on competitiveness. Our goal during championship tournaments is to assemble the most competitive team possible. Players’ game time is earned based on their performance in matches and training sessions throughout the season. We are dedicated to developing sophisticated tactics for the sport and place great importance on commitment, discipline, and dedication to the team.
