Utahloy International School Guangzhou proudly secured the third position in the highly prestigious National Spelling Bee Teams Competition held in Beijing. Thanks to DJi Solution Education, Summer School primary students participated in a STEAM activity, which was about learning how to control drones and robotics. In the drone session, students were firstly taught how to control the drones. Besides, in the robotic session, they learned how to play Robomaster. They were all active and enthusiastic.

In Week 3 of International Summer School, the students have gone onto the theme of Explore the Community. Early Years children have had discussions about our own community and those who help run it, like librarians, police officers, and firefighters. They have also put on the uniforms of these community helpers and found out what social responsibilities they have.
Cyanotype is an old photographic printing process that produces a cyan-blue print, demonstrating boundless artistic possibilities. Mr. Wil Kopernikus, a German artist, was invited for a sharing and to teach Y3-Y6 summer school students to create their own cyanotype prints. During the workshop, Mr. Wil taught the children the basic skill and knowledge of cyanotype and guided them through the process to print.
