On November 14th and 15th, the entire faculty of test.utahloy.cn International School Zengcheng converged to immerse themselves in a series of professional development workshops that were meticulously planned to align with our school’s overarching goals for the year. These workshops were not merely events on a calendar; they were pivotal moments in our collective journey towards becoming a school that embodies continual improvement and fosters high-quality teaching and learning environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u572811\u670814\u65e5\u548c15\u65e5\uff0c\u589e\u57ce\u8a89\u5fb7\u83b1\u7684\u5168\u4f53\u6559\u804c\u5458\u5de5\u96c6\u7ed3\u4e00\u5802\uff0c\u6df1\u5165\u53c2\u4e0e\u4e86\u4e00\u7cfb\u5217\u4e13\u4e1a\u53d1\u5c55\u5de5\u4f5c\u574a\u3002\u8fd9\u4e9b\u5de5\u4f5c\u574a\u7ecf\u8fc7\u7cbe\u5fc3\u8bbe\u8ba1\uff0c\u65e8\u5728\u4e0e\u6211\u4eec\u5b66\u6821\u7684\u5e74\u5ea6\u6838\u5fc3\u76ee\u6807\u4fdd\u6301\u4e00\u81f4\u3002\u8fd9\u4e9b\u5de5\u4f5c\u574a\u4e0d\u53ea\u662f\u65e5\u7a0b\u4e0a\u7684\u7b80\u5355\u4e8b\u4ef6\uff1b\u5b83\u4eec\u6807\u5fd7\u7740\u6211\u4eec\u5171\u540c\u65c5\u7a0b\u4e2d\u7684\u91cd\u8981\u8f6c\u6298\u70b9\uff0c\u81f4\u529b\u4e8e\u5c06\u6211\u4eec\u5b66\u6821\u6253\u9020\u6210\u4e00\u4e2a\u4e0d\u65ad\u8fdb\u6b65\u3001\u57f9\u517b\u5353\u8d8a\u6559\u5b66\u548c\u5b66\u4e60\u73af\u5883\u7684\u6559\u80b2\u673a\u6784\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshops were kicked off with sessions led by our esteemed Head of School, Michael Bailey, who focused on English Language Acquisition. His sessions were both informative and engaging, providing teachers with practical strategies and insights on how to effectively support English Language Learners within our diverse UISZ community. Teachers eagerly participated, sharing their own practices and ideas, creating a collaborative atmosphere where everyone could learn and grow. The discussions centered around innovative approaches to ensure that our ELL students receive the necessary support to thrive academically and socially within our institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tara O\u2019Brien, the Head of Primary, took the helm for workshops that delved into the realm of social-emotional learning and character development within the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework. Her sessions encouraged teachers to think deeply about the holistic development of our students, emphasizing the importance of nurturing not just their intellectual growth but also their emotional well-being and character traits. Through team-based activities and reflective discussions, teachers brainstormed strategies to enhance our practices, aiming to create a school that truly nurtures the whole child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The days were filled with a sense of camaraderie and shared purpose, as teachers and administrators alike engaged in impactful learning experiences that will undoubtedly have a lasting influence on our school’s culture and effectiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
