Last week, our youngest learners embarked on a delightful educational journey to the Guangzhou Zoo. While our children were thrilled to encounter pandas, tigers, and giraffes, this adventure was far more than wildlife observation. It was a living classroom—a vibrant extension of our IB PYP Unit of Inquiry.

In the heart of Guangdong’s Xiangwo village, our Grade 3 students embarked on a transformative Week Without Walls adventure that beautifully embodied the theme of “Sharing the Planet.” Over two unforgettable days, UISZ and UISG learners discovered how to appreciate and sustain our natural world through immersive, hands-on cultural experiences.
Our Grade 5 students just had an unforgettable Week Without Walls—filled with exploration, friendship, and brand-new challenges! Coasteering along the shore became a highlight for many. Navigating rocks and waves, that thrill of discovery made lasting impressions.
As the new semester begins, campus safety is the premise of all study and growth, as well as the core bottom line we focus on protecting this school year. To build a strong campus safety line and enhance students’ safety awareness, we specially invited Officer Lai Rongqing from Zengjiang Street Police Station, who also serves as the school’s Vice Principal of Legal and Safety, to deliver a themed presentation on Campus Health, Legal System and Safety for all teachers and students of our school. Focusing on high-frequency safety scenarios on campus, he explained practical safety knowledge in plain and straightforward language to protect the safe growth of students in the new semester.
