Dear Students and Community,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What an incredible journey this year has been! It has been a time marked by growth, transformation, and the strength of our community. The year began with our move to UISZ\u2019s new permanent home. We quickly settled into the new building, embraced the wonderful spaces, and adapted to having our sports facilities and residences just a short bus ride away. These new surroundings gave us all a chance to take a deep breath, settle into new classes, and warmly welcome new members to our community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the year, new members joined our community, bringing fresh energy and exciting new dynamics. We expanded our learning environment with exciting additions like the forest school, while also enhancing existing spaces such as the playground and our Multi-Function Hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the spring, we faced a challenging time as the Board debated the school\u2019s future direction. Our students courageously shared their hopes and concerns, and the Board reaffirmed its commitment to continuing all our valued programs as we move forward together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Student leadership remained a cornerstone of our program, shining brightly across many areas of school life. Students took charge of organizing major events such as our Model United Nations (MUN) conference and various school-wide celebrations, creating vibrant opportunities for community connection. They also collaborated closely with our academic team to introduce exciting new initiatives, including our first-ever STEAM Day celebration, which sparked creativity and innovation across all grade levels. These leadership experiences are integral to the fabric of our community and highlight the unique growth opportunities that define UISZ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, our students demonstrated outstanding dedication in many areas. We proudly fielded five ACAMIS sports teams and celebrated creativity through our visual arts exhibition. Students reached key milestones in their academic journeys, including the PYP Exhibition, Year 10 Personal Projects, Year 10 E-Assessments, DSE Exams in Hong Kong, Extended Essays, and the final DP examinations. They demonstrated diligence and grit, overcoming challenges and showcasing their true capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking ahead, we are filled with optimism and enthusiasm for what the future holds at test.utahloy.cn International School Zengcheng. As we approach the conclusion of the academic year, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for each of you. This year has been filled with remarkable achievements and joyous moments. This year marked the first full year of teaching ain learning in our new campus building. As we continue to adapt to the new space, we will see further enhancement of our  learning environments. Throughout the academic year, students demonstrated their learning in a variety of inquiry-based projects including research papers, 3D modeling, and e-portfolios. All of these successes would not be possible without the guidance and tutelage of our MYP teachers who spent countless hours to maximize high quality teaching and learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our successes were not just limited to the classroom. During Week Without Walls, students engaged in outdoor activities that fostered teamwork and collaboration, strengthening friendships across grades. The final full week of the academic year saw International Day celebrations. Our community celebrated cultural diversity with wonderful performances and activities. Thank you to all the families, teachers, and students who contributed to making this event a success. Our Year 6 science students built functioning robots, demonstrating their ingenuity. Meanwhile, Year 9 MYP Chinese Language and Literature students hosted an exhibition on Chinese culture, showcasing their hard work and dedication. Outside of the school, our students represented UISZ with class and respect through events such as Model United Nations and tournaments featuring volleyball and football.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The MYP is a journey for all students. Our Year 10 students saw that journey end as thye transition to the DP. Meanwhile, Year 5 students and their families begin the transition to the start of their MYP journey next academic year. The journey differs for all students. Some take longer than others. Others experience bumpy journeys while others\u2019 are smooth. Regardless, the destination is the same. This has been a year to celebrate with the succeses and opportunities that await.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To our DP2 students \u2013 congratulations on reaching this significant milestone! Over the past two years, you have demonstrated exceptional commitment in completing your Internal Assessments (IAs), Extended Essay (EE), and Theory of Knowledge (TOK) essays, all while balancing the demands of CAS. Your hard work has culminated in the successful completion of the DP exams, and we are confident that your efforts will yield outstanding results. Beyond academics, you have also navigated the complex university application process with maturity. You crafted reflective personal statements and received impressive offers from institutions worldwide. This is a testament to your growth as holistic learners and global citizens.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, our DP1 students have embraced their roles as emerging leaders within the school community. They have actively developed their Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills by leading the student council, solving school issues, posting suggestions, organizing and participating in events such as the Christmas Celebration, Lunar New Year Celebration, Peace Day, Earth Day etc. These initiatives have not only strengthened our community bonds, fostered intercultural understanding, and raised awareness of global issues. Their enthusiasm and creativity remind us of the transformative power of student-led initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we celebrate these accomplishments, we also extend our deepest gratitude to the teachers, supervisors and families who have supported our students every step of the way. The DP journey is challenging, but we turn challenges into triumphs through collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are pleased to inform you that the Year 11 students have successfully completed their end-of-year (summer) assessments across all subjects. These assessments were designed to evaluate students\u2019 mastery of the key concepts and skills taught throughout the school year. All students have now received their assessment grades and personalized feedback from their subject teachers. This feedback highlights both their achievements and areas for further improvement, and we strongly encourage parents to review this information with their child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to assessments, our teaching team has conducted a thorough review and summary of the syllabus covered during Year 11. This process not only helps consolidate students\u2019 learning, but also bridges the transition into Year 12. The review sessions have been shared with students in class and are also available through the school\u2019s online learning platform for their reference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To ensure that learning continues over the summer and to help students stay academically engaged, summer homework assignments have been given in each subject. These tasks are designed to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What an incredible journey this year has been! It has been a time marked by growth, transformation, and the strength of our community. The year began with our move to UISZ\u2019s new permanent home.
