In October, following the National Day holiday in 2025, teachers from UIS Guangzhou and Zengcheng campuses came together for enriching Professional Development (PD) Days<\/strong>. While students had not yet returned to school, the campus was already buzzing with intellectual energy and a shared passion for learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teachers from both the Primary and Secondary divisions<\/em> immersed themselves fully in the sessions, recharging and preparing for the new term ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This PD Day was not just for the Guangzhou-based faculty; teachers from the Zengcheng campus also joined, making it a truly collaborative event. Educators from both campuses sat together, exchanging experiences and sharing methodologies, fostering genuine growth across our school network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This collaboration not only strengthened ties between the campuses but also allowed teachers to gain diverse perspectives, bringing renewed energy and ideas into their classrooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Secondary sessions<\/strong>, particularly for the DP level, featured external facilitators leading specialized workshops on guiding extended essays and assessment strategies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Other key discussion areas included curriculum alignment<\/strong>, assessment strategies<\/strong>, and global citizenship<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The training went beyond passive listening; it was highly interactive. Teachers collaborated in groups, bouncing ideas off one another and mastering new tools through hands-on activities, ensuring they could directly apply their learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
