We want to start this summary by thanking all parents, students, and employees who discussed about our school\u2019s strategic plan.  It is together that we will forge our community\u2019s future and we were overwhelmingly pleased to witness such engagement from all!   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our teachers and TA\u2019s spent Thursday and Friday as students where they engaged in enriching workshops.  They deepened their understanding with curricular matters as well as well-being ones.  Special thanks to our TA\u2019s who received a much welcome training in PYP.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

PYP<\/strong>  <\/strong>\u56fd\u9645\u6587\u51ed\u5c0f\u5b66\u8bfe\u7a0b  <\/strong>\ucd08\ub4f1\uad50\uc721\uacfc\uc815<\/strong>\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In our UOI, How we express ourselves, K3\/Y1 class has been focusing their learning about signs and symbols. Learners explored and investigated signs in the school and further their learning by studying and experiencing more road signs and the adventure park signs during the field trips on the Days Without Walls. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learners have deepened their understanding about the study of symbols as they collaborated with the Y2 class. The Y2 class has been inquiring in their UOI about culture and traditions. Learners have discovered symbols associated with some celebrations like the Easter, Christmas, and Diwali. In STEAM, Design Thinking was introduced and used to create one of the Christmas symbols in the Philippines–the \u201cStar Lantern.\u201d Then, both classes collaborated further to express themselves in creating Rangoli, one of the symbols learned from the Diwali festival of India. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Collaboration with Y2 class has been very beneficial to all learners academically and socially. These learning experiences have helped foster the development of the students\u2019 creativity, collaborative skills, social skills, open-mindedness, and global mindedness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u5728\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u63a2\u7a76\u5355\u5143\u201c\u6211\u4eec\u5982\u4f55\u8868\u8fbe\u81ea\u5df1\u201d\u4e2d\uff0cK3\/\u4e00\u5e74\u7ea7\u4e00\u76f4\u5173\u6ce8\u4ed6\u4eec\u5bf9\u7b26\u53f7\u548c\u7b26\u53f7\u7684\u5b66\u4e60\uff0c\u540c\u5b66\u4eec\u5728\u5b66\u6821\u91cc\u63a2\u7d22\u548c\u7814\u7a76\u6807\u5fd7\uff0c\u5e76\u5728\u201c\u65e0\u5899\u5468\u201d\u7684\u6237\u5916\u7814\u5b66\u4e2d\uff0c\u901a\u8fc7\u5b66\u4e60\u548c\u4f53\u9a8c\u66f4\u591a\u7684\u9053\u8def\u6807\u5fd7\u548c\u5192\u9669\u516c\u56ed\u6807\u5fd7\uff0c\u6765\u8fdb\u4e00\u6b65\u52a0\u6df1\u4e86\u4ed6\u4eec\u5bf9\u8fd9\u4e00\u5355\u5143\u7684\u5b66\u4e60\u3002 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, this topic is a prerequisite in IB DP Maths which makes it important for students. DP Y12 Chemistry students just finished organic chemistry. We have focused our studies on course content for paper 1 and paper 2, and started preparations for Internal Assessment by developing practical skills required for IB Chemistry.
