The 2026 Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) core subject examinations will officially begin tomorrow (April 9). Today, UISZ (test.utahloy.cn International School Zengcheng) D12 students, led by Mr. Austin Zhang, Head of Secondary School (HKDSE), and their homeroom teacher, departed for Hong Kong to take the exams.
This week has been unusually quiet on campus, as secondary students are away on their annual Week Without Walls (WWW). While we have missed their energy, we know they are building resilience and friendships outdoors.

The day began with the grand opening of our brand-new boarding house—a milestone marking UEF’s continued commitment to holistic education. Ms. Dorothy, Board Director and Chair of the UEF Board, was joined by UIS Superintendent Dr. Dan, Head of Boarding Mostafa, IB student representative Bosco, and DSE student representative Chole to officially inaugurate this state-of-the-art facility. Parents and students then had the opportunity to explore the thoughtfully designed living spaces, envisioning the growth and independence this home-away-from-home will foster.
