Round 3 of\u00a0Reading Buddies<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Round 3 of Reading Buddies, our Y1 and Y4 students came together for special sessions filled with creativity and shared discovery. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As our Y1 learners began their inquiry into the magical world of poetry, their Y4 buddies stepped into the role of mentors, guiding them with enthusiasm and kindness.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Creative Spark<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To ignite their imaginations, the buddies kicked off with a fun provocation: a collaborative drawing activity, where laughter and ideas flowed freely. Together, they designed playful and surprising characters and even gave them names\u2014a perfect starting point for Y1 students to explore poetry.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With support from their Y4 mentors, the Y1 students crafted their very first acrostic poems. The older buddies modelled how to play with words, while the younger ones listened attentively to every tip and contributed their own creative ideas.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back in their literacy classes, the Y1 students developed their skills, eventually writing their own original acrostic poems. To celebrate their growth, they invited their Y4 buddies for a special poetry recital. Though they were a bit nervous at first, a gentle reminder from Ms Flamingo shifted the energy: “Remember how your Y4 friends shared their Reader\u2019s Theatre with you? Now it\u2019s your turn to shine!”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And shine they did! With proud smiles, the Y1 students recited their poems, their voices growing stronger with each word.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why It Mattered<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Knowledgeable: Y4 students shared their understanding of poetic structures.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Caring: Older buddies patiently encouraged their younger partners.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n

    Together, they proved that learning is sweeter when shared. We couldn\u2019t be prouder of our poets and their inspiring mentors!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u5728”\u9605\u8bfb\u4f19\u4f34”\u7b2c\u4e09\u8f6e\u6d3b\u52a8\u4e2d\uff0c\u4e00\u5e74\u7ea7\u4e0e\u56db\u5e74\u7ea7\u5b66\u751f\u643a\u624b\u5c55\u5f00\u5145\u6ee1\u521b\u610f\u4e0e\u5171\u540c\u63a2\u7d22\u7684\u7279\u522b\u8bfe\u7a0b\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u5f53\u4e00\u5e74\u7ea7\u840c\u65b0\u5f00\u59cb\u63a2\u79d8\u8bd7\u6b4c\u7684\u9b54\u6cd5\u4e16\u754c\u65f6\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u56db\u5e74\u7ea7\u4f19\u4f34\u5316\u8eab\u6696\u5fc3\u5bfc\u5e08\uff0c\u4ee5\u70ed\u60c5\u4e0e\u8010\u5fc3\u5f15\u9886\u524d\u884c\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u56de\u5230\u8bed\u6587\u8bfe\u5802\u540e\uff0c\u4e00\u5e74\u7ea7\u540c\u5b66\u4eec\u7ee7\u7eed\u7cbe\u8fdb\u8bd7\u827a\uff0c\u6700\u7ec8\u5b8c\u6210\u4e86\u5c5e\u4e8e\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u539f\u521b\u85cf\u5934\u8bd7\u3002\u4e3a\u4e86\u5e86\u795d\u8fd9\u4efd\u6210\u957f\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u7279\u522b\u9080\u8bf7\u56db\u5e74\u7ea7\u5bfc\u5e08\u53c2\u52a0\u8bd7\u6b4c\u6717\u8bf5\u4f1a\u3002\u867d\u7136\u8d77\u521d\u6709\u4e9b\u7d27\u5f20\uff0c\u4f46\u706b\u70c8\u9e1f\u8001\u5e08\u6e29\u6696\u7684\u63d0\u9192\u6539\u53d8\u4e86\u6c14\u6c1b\uff1a”\u8bb0\u5f97\u56db\u5e74\u7ea7\u54e5\u54e5\u59d0\u59d0\u662f\u600e\u4e48\u4e3a\u4f60\u4eec\u8868\u6f14\u8bfb\u8005\u5267\u573a\u7684\u5417\uff1f\u73b0\u5728\u8f6e\u5230\u4f60\u4eec\u7efd\u653e\u5149\u5f69\u5566\uff01”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
