This week I\u2019d like to share some pictures from a cross-campus activity in which Year 6 students have been creating toys for the early years students. They took their prototypes to the classrooms to trial and gather feedback from their \u2018customers\u2019. Many thanks to the Y6 and Early Years teachers for organising this collaborative, community experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 What a Student-Led Conference (SLC) IS:
A special opportunity for your child to showcase their learning journey in their own words.

As the Year 12 and Year 10 students’ \u2018showcase\u2019 their learning to the IB examiners, we have been showcasing other student work in the Secondary school the last few weeks. Here are two of the highlights: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you have been in the Secondary building the last couple of weeks you will have seen an incredible transformation of the atrium, filled with fantastic displays of student work. These displays highlight the process as well as the finished product. Each week the display changes, with different Year level work being shown. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other recent highlights have included the Year 8 hike up Baiyun Mountain, and the Year 11 Collaborative Science Project. Next week we have our MYP Theatre Week, with performances from our Year 7 and Year 9 students. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
