It is our pleasure to extend to you our invitation to become a part of our inquiry-driven learning community and take advantage of our scholarship programme. Tailored to UISG\u2019S IB Middle Years Programme (ages 11-16) and Diploma Programme (ages 17-18)<\/strong>, our programme caters to a wide range of passions and interests. We take pride in offering scholarships worth over 160,000 RMB<\/strong> tuition fees to Y10 and Y12 students accepted into our programme, giving them the opportunity to start their journey with us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u6211\u4eec\u8bda\u631a\u9080\u8bf7\u60a8\u8fc8\u5165\u6211\u4eec\u4ee5\u63a2\u7d22\u4e3a\u6838\u5fc3\u7684\u5b66\u672f\u793e\u7fa4\uff0c\u8fd9\u91cc\u4e0d\u4ec5\u6c47\u805a\u4e86\u6c42\u77e5\u7684\u70ed\u60c5\uff0c\u8fd8\u7279\u522b\u63a8\u51fa\u4e86\u4f18\u6e25\u7684\u5956\u5b66\u91d1\u8ba1\u5212\u3002\u4e13\u4e3aUISG\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7684\u8bfe\u7a0b\u4f53\u7cfb\u7d27\u5bc6\u8d34\u5408\u56fd\u9645\u6587\u51ed(IB)\u7684\u4e2d\u5b66\u9879\u76ee(MYP\uff0c\u9002\u7528\u4e8e11\u81f316\u5c81\u5b66\u751f)\u53ca\u5927\u5b66\u9884\u79d1\u9879\u76ee(DP\uff0c\u9762\u541117\u81f318\u5c81\u5b66\u751f)<\/strong>\uff0c\u65e8\u5728\u5168\u9762\u6fc0\u53d1\u5e76\u6ee1\u8db3\u5b66\u751f\u7684\u5e7f\u6cdb\u5174\u8da3\u4e0e\u4e2a\u6027\u5316\u9700\u6c42\u3002\u5c24\u4e3a\u81ea\u8c6a\u7684\u662f\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u4e3a10\u5e74\u7ea7\u53ca12\u5e74\u7ea7\u7684\u6770\u51fa\u5b66\u5b50\u8bbe\u7acb\u4e86\u903e16\u4e07\u4eba\u6c11\u5e01<\/strong>\u7684\u5956\u5b66\u91d1\u540d\u989d\uff0c\u52a9\u529b\u4ed6\u4eec\u5728UISG\u7684\u5b66\u672f\u65c5\u7a0b\u4e0a\u8fc8\u51fa\u575a\u5b9e\u6b65\u4f10\uff0c\u5171\u540c\u5f00\u542f\u4e00\u6bb5\u542f\u8fea\u667a\u6167\u3001\u6210\u5c31\u68a6\u60f3\u7684\u5b66\u4e60\u63a2\u9669\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

   o MAP growth tests indicate overall growth trends in Language Usage and Reading<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Language capacity: Language A in language 1 and 2, or Language A + <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Language B (at a capable or proficient level)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two written pieces must accompany each application. One of the essays must be in English. Each paper should be in the range of 250 to 300 words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Essay prompts:<\/em> UISG values its commitment to developing balanced, caring, and reflective learners. In one of your essays, write how you have demonstrated one of these attributes. In the other paper, which must be written in another language, choose how you would like to develop one of the other attributes further. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

01<\/strong>. UEF Special Recognition Award<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

RMB 10,000<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The UEF Special Recognition Award is presented to a Year 12 student who exemplifies the UEF mission by being creative and innovative, caring for others in the community, being environmentally responsible, and a person who exemplifies both Eastern and Western values. The UEF Special Recognition recipient is a role model to those around them.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

02<\/strong>. UISG Global Citizenship Award<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

RMB 10,000<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Global citizenship is social responsibility and engaging in global civic action. It deals with our uniqueness, our commonalities and stewardship of the planet.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

03<\/strong>. Valedictorian<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

RMB 10,000<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are two valedictorians, one female and one male, who are selected from the graduating class to give the valedictory address at the Graduation Ceremony. The Secondary teachers select the valedictorians after a shortlist is created by the Secondary Leadership Team.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

04<\/strong>. Top Scholar Award<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Award RMB 10,000<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This award will be presented to the Year 12 student with the highest predicted score in the IB Diploma Programme. The student must have completed the full DP at UISG. If necessary, Year 9 and 10 academic results will also be considered,e.g., if two or more students are too close to separate when considering only their predicted DP scores.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

05<\/strong>. Wolves Athletics Legacy Award<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Award RMB 10,000<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A prestigious recognition given to one graduate who has shown remarkable achievements and contributions in the field of athletics during their time at UISG. This award acknowledges individuals who have actively participated in multiple sports, preferably for longer durations, demonstrating unwavering dedication and commitment to athletic pursuits. The recipient of this award must have a minimum attendance of 2 years at UISG, with a preference of 4 or more years, indicating their enduring involvement and loyalty to the school’s athletic programmes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

06<\/strong>. Dr John Clark Art Institute of the Orient Award for the Arts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Award RMB 10,000<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Visual Arts and Performing Arts (Music, Theatre)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This award is funded by a generous donation from former UEF consultant, Dr John Clark. A prestigious recognition given to one graduate who has shown remarkable development, perseverance, and commitment in the field of the Arts during their time at UISG. The award acknowledges individuals who have actively sought artistic opportunities, demonstrating unwavering dedication and commitment to creative pursuits. The recipient of this award must have a minimum attendance of 2 years at UISG, with a preference of 4 or more years, indicating their enduring involvement with the Arts programme at the school.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
