relevant regulations set by the Guangzhou Education Bureau, UISG can only offer enrollment to students holding valid foreign passports or children who are Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan residents. Our application process is completed online through our <a href=\"https:\/\/uisgz.openapply.cn\/apply\">OpenApply Admissions Portal<\/a>, and our Admissions Team will be able to follow along as you complete the steps and provide support when needed.<\/p>\n<p>After you\u2019ve submitted the application form, you must upload the following support documents as well:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>A copy of each parent\/legal guardian\u2019s passport and valid documentation to reside in mainland China.<\/li>\n<li>A copy of the student\u2019s passport and valid documentation to reside in mainland China.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>We understand that a family living outside mainland China may not yet have a valid Chinese visa or residence permit. You can submit your passport copies first and email copies of your visa or residence permit once available.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>A copy of the student\u2019s birth certificate<\/li>\n<li>A passport-sized photo of the student for their student ID<\/li>\n<li>A copy of the student\u2019s official school reports from at least the last two years. Please also provide their Certificate of Attendance and Enrollment issued by the previous school. We request that all academic documents be submitted in English or with a verified translation.<\/li>\n<li>Confidential reference form: for students from Grade 1-12, you must use the online application portal to send a confidential reference request to your child\u2019s most recent teacher or Principal.<\/li>\n<li>Suppose your child has a diagnosed learning need, has received learning support in a previous school, or has any significant medical conditions. Admission to UISG will be determined by the Head of School based on information obtained concerning:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The potential of the applicant to benefit from the educational services available.<\/li>\n<li>The capacity of the school to meet the educational needs of the applicant.<\/li>\n<li>The results of admission assessments, where applicable.<\/li>\n<li>The availability of places. Students may be admitted at any time during the academic year unless the timing affects the completion of their courses.<\/li>\n<li>Students wishing to enrol directly in the IBDP (Grade 11-12) must meet additional language and course requirements as determined by the IB Diploma Coordinator.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The school reserves the right to deny admission or re-enrollment to any applicant if, in its opinion, there are reasons to believe that admission or re-enrolment would not be in the best interest of the applicant or the school. The Admissions Office will work closely with you and our academic leadership to support your child\u2019s successful transition to our learning community.<\/p>\n<p>If your child has applied for a year level where we have reached our maximum capacity, they may be placed in the wait pool for future consideration.
