On May 5th, year 2 visited the museum to look at artifacts as part of our UOI. Please enjoy the writeups from some of the year 2 students. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dayu <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our field trip was fun. It was fun because we saw fossils, diamonds, pearls and artifacts. We saw artifacts first, then the diamonds and pearls in the end we saw fossils. The artifacts were old boats, old furnitures and other old things. The diamonds were not the only shiny things we saw, there were amethyst, elephant carved art, pearls, tiny crystals and regular sized crystals. We saw fossils at the end, they were so big that one of them needed two floors! The other one was a T-Rex but it was only the head, there was also one with spikes on the back. It was cool ?. We went to the museum because all the things in the museum was part of our topic that we were learning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neev <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The museum was impressively organized and we were told that each floor had a different topic. The 4th floor was about the history and culture of Guangdong, the last floor was about Dinosaurs…..There were so many old things to see. WE EVEN SAW THE ORGANS OF A SEI WHALE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cool right? We even saw fossilized plants and stuffed animals (the animals were alive but then killed or found dead then stuffed). You can only drink water but you have to eat snacks in a special place. You\u2019ll love to go to this museum. It was awesome. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harper <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trip to the museum was super fun. There were a lot of things to look at. You can learn a lot by reading the text.? My favorite part was the ocean animals.? And the gems were also amazing.? The dinosaurs were huge, one dinosaur neck that went to the third floor! ? (We were on the second floor.) There were leaf prints, snakes, artifacts, and weapons! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

ShiHyun <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The museum was so nice and good. I was surprised to see the beautiful diamonds. Also there were so many old things. I saw the dinosaur bones too, stegosaurus and t-Rex . Even other types of bones! Mr. Tom loved the chicken made of jade. Well. There was snakes, animal bones and leave fossils! I want to go there again because people can know lots of things there. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Valeria <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Museum we saw many fossils and old rocks. We had a hunt for many things, it was very beautiful. We had to go in little groups because not to get lost. After that we got lost in the Museum. But then we found the way out. When we were in the museum the dinosaurs were very old. Then we stoped to have a snack because we were very hungry. Next we were very happy because we had seen a gift shop. But we did not get anything from the shop. Because we were not aloud, so we started walking again and suddenly we saw underwater Animals. We started to say that what is that? And a lady said that they are different types of sharks. So then we started walking again and we finally arrived to the first floor. And then we had a rest.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
